Raymond Clarence Rohloff

Raymond C. Rohloff, age 71 of Hinckley, MN died on Thursday, October 27, 2022 in Taylor Falls, MN.  Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 3, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur, MN.  Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m.  Veterans honor following the service in the church parking lot, followed by lunch in church social hall.  Interment will be in Mound Cemetery at a later time.

Ray was born in St. Peter, MN on January 15, 1951 to Clarence and Adeline (Robinson) Rohloff.  He grew up in Le Sueur, MN and graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1970.  He took basic training in the United States Army and was in the U.S. Army Reserves.  At a young age he worked construction with Swenson Construction, H.E. Westerman Lumber in Le Sueur and later drove truck for Hix Trucking in Le Sueur, MN.  He later worked at Unimin in Ottawa, MN.  Most of his working career was spent driving truck and in his later years worked in valet at Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN.  He enjoyed motorcycling, sailing, skiing, exercising and time with his family and dogs.

He is survived by his fiancée, Kathleen Walker of Hinckley, MN; siblings; Annette Judy (Ronald) Schilling of Ladysmith, WI; Terry (Joyce) Rohloff of St. Peter, MN, Arlene (Charlie) Lemmer of Le Sueur, MN and Joanne (Derick Anthony) Rohloff of Fargo, ND.  Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents.
