Raymond Francis Sauer

Our beloved dad, Ray Sauer, passed away peacefully and quietly due to age related causes on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. He was the only child born to John and Delia Sauer of St. Peter, MN on July 4, 1922. Ray married Elizabeth (Betty) Mangan on January 20, 1943 and they lived and worked the St. Peter family farm together raising three daughters. They moved to Le Sueur in 1961. Those left behind with cherished memories are daughters, Kitty Fletcher (Roger), Blue Earth, MN, Bonnie O'Brien (Bill), Deerwood, MN and Linda Claire (Tim), Glen Head, NY and 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Betty. His grandson, Peter Fletcher; and his parents. A combined memorial mass for Ray and Betty will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. George Grafsky will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church.
