Rhoda Joanne Woehler

Rhoda Joanne (Grapentine) Woehler, age 86, of Arlington, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Bayside Manor in Gaylord. A memorial service for Rhoda will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington at 12 p.m. with Rev. Gretchen Pierskalla, officiating. Visitation will start one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery after the service with a luncheon to follow.

Rhoda was born on May 13, 1940, in Henderson Township, Sibley County. She was raised in Henderson and graduated from Henderson High School. Soon after high school, Rhoda married Milton “Jim” Woehler on June 6, 1959, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Henderson. They moved onto the Woehler family farm and would have three children together. Rhoda helped Jim on the farm and especially loved taking care of their animals: chickens, geese, ducks, lambs, feeding the cows, and more. They farmed together until Jim’s retirement in 1999. Rhoda and Jim were married for 54 years before his passing in 2013.

In her free time, Rhoda enjoyed to crochet and read. She had a deep love for animals. After retirement, Rhoda and Jim would travel often and took many coach bus trips together. After Jim’s passing, Rhoda continued her traveling with a newfound friend.

Rhoda is survived by her children, Gerald (Brenda) Woehler and Kathleen Anderson; grandchildren, Matt and Kim Woehler, and Andrew and Jennifer Anderson; brothers, Elliot Grapentine, John (Doris) Grapentine, and Jerry Grapentine; and sister-in-law Grace Brinkman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton “Jim” Woehler; son, Lyle Woehler; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pat Grapentine, LeRoy and Joanne Woehler, George and Ruth Hahn, and Lauren Brinkman.
