Richard J. Maus

Richard J. Maus, age 75 of Le Sueur, died August 2, 2010 in Sacramento, California. Memorial visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 4-7p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Interment will be at a later date in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur. Richard was born on May 6, 1935 in Jordan, Minnesota. He married Leona Schelin in 1967 in Le Sueur. They lived in Le Center from 1967 and moved to Le Sueur in 1982. He worked at the Le Sueur foundry for many years. He has managed the Aqua Shine carwash in Le Sueur for the past 10 years. He enjoyed fishing. Richard is survived by his children, Greg (Shelly) Schelin of Le Sueur, and Gary (Kathy) Schelin of Faribault; grandchildren, Allyson Schelin of Le Sueur and Kelly Schelin of Mankato; sister, Virginia Sigl of Sacramento, CA; and niece, Arlene Johns of Sacramento, CA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona in 1992; and sister, Helen.
