Richard H. Weber

Richard “Dick” Weber, age 88 of Belle Plaine, originally of Reemer,  died on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at The Belle Plaine Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, MN.  Short visitation on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. ~ 3:30 p.m., Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN followed with committal service with military honors at First Lutheran Cemetery, Glencoe, MN.

Dick was born on March 24, 1935 to Henry and Mary (Hansch) Weber in West St. Paul, MN.  The family moved to the New Auburn area when he was young and he graduated from Glencoe High School in 1953.  He served in the United States Marine Corp and when he returned home, worked on the family farm for a short time.  He worked for Mid-America Dairy in Winthrop, MN for 37 years and retired from there.  He worked part time for American Harvest in Chaska for a while before moving to Remer, MN from 1997 to 2017.  He has been a resident of the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home since 2017.

He is survived by his son; Jeff (Missy) Weber of Arlington, MN; Grandchildren, Tyler (Krystal) Weber, Alex Weber and his special friend, Kari; Zac Weber and Alyssa Weber and five Great-grandchildren.  Brother, Vernon (Sharon) Weber of Fairfax, MN. Nephew, Kevin (Sharon) Weber and niece, Linda (Mike) Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Edward.
