Rita Ryan

Rita Ryan, age 91 of Gaylord and formerly of Green Isle passed away March 7, 2014 at her residence at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in Gaylord. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until Mass time Saturday at the church. Interment will be in St. Brendan Catholic Cemetery in Green Isle. Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington is handling the arrangements. Rita was born on April 7, 1922 in Watertown, Mn. to Mike and Esther (Dugan) Magner. She married Joe Ryan on February 12, 1945 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown . She is preceded in death by son Michael, grandson Jason, great granddaughter MaKaila, parents, siblings Helen Campbell, John Magner, and Mike "Bud" Magner. Rita is survived by her husband Joe, sons Jack (Louise)Ryan of Woodbury, Pat Ryan of Green Isle, Terry (Janelle) Ryan of Gaylord, daughters Maureen (Fred) Bullert of Gaylord, Sheila (Rich) Henke of Arlington, Joann (Ron) Wickenhauser of Cologne, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, sister Mary Nolan of Delano, and many nieces and nephews. Serving as casket bearers for the funeral are Rita's grandsons, Jeff Ryan, John Ryan, Sean Ryan, Jim Ryan, Ryan Henke, and Connor Wickenhauser.
