Robert Busse

Robert W. Busse, age 87 of Henderson, died Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home in Henderson. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. Rev. Brigit Stevens will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time at church. Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Robert was born on January 17, 1925 to William and Johanna (Sudman) Busse in Shakopee. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1943. He then went into the U.S. Navy and returned in 1946. He married Arlene Fortney in 1957 in Glencoe. He worked at the Sibley County Courthouse from 1960 to 1987 as the Court Administrator. Robert is survived by his wife, Arlene of Henderson; sister, Vivian Pinney of Le Sueur; nephews, Alan (Sandy) Pinney of Le Center, Steve (Jessie) Pinney of Minitrista, MN, Mark (Dianne) Pinney of Le Sueur and Keith (Amy) Pinney of Houlton, WI; and many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Henderson Community Foundation or St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
