Robert Clarence Sauter

Robert C. Sauter, age 69 of Hutchinson, formerly of Arlington, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, MN.  Memorial services will be Friday, June 21, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN.  Visitation at the funeral home that morning from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m. followed by burial, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Arlington.  Lunch at the Arlington Haus following burial.

Robert was born on March 30, 1954 in Arlington, MN to Clarence and Doloris (Stock) Sauter.  He grew up in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School.  He worked Maintenace at 3M in Hutchinson, Minnesota for many years.  He married Catherine Wagner and the couple had one son, Nathan.  He later moved to Kansas where he worked many years in Maintenace in various churches and schools.  He returned to Arlington some years later where he did ice maintenance on the outdoor hockey rink. He enjoyed his mobile Hawaiian shaved ice and concession business where he traveled to county fairs and carnivals with.

Robert is survived by his son Nate Sauter and his fiancé Victoria Cabrera of Hutchinson, MN and his sister, Connie (Bill) Rosenfeld of Olathe, KS.  He is preceded in death by his parents.
