Robert Glenn Hague, age 84 of Henderson, Minnesota died on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on March 18, 1932 at Spring Valley, Minnesota to Robert and Berthal (Cheney) Hague. Glenn attended school at Goodhue, Minnesota, farmed for a time and then entered the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for over 30 years as a Section Foreman for the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, mostly in the LeSueur area, retiring at age 65. Glenn married Karen Luhman on June 5, 1960 at Goodhue, Minnesota. They moved to Sommerville, Kentucky for 10 years and then returned to Henderson. In addition to being a hobby farmer, he enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and helping farmers after his retirement. Glenn is survived by his wife, Karen; Children, Robert of Henderson, Susan (Brandon) Phillips of Henderson, Thomas (Pam) Hague of Hastings and Tambra Kaveney of St. Peter; 10 grandchildren, Jesse and Joshua Lansing, Elizabeth Connor, Spencer Westphal, Jenna Kalin, Tyler Hague, Marki, Miranda, Meghan and Mitchell Kaveney and 8 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan, Trevor & Tanner Lansing, Lily and Brock Connor, Lyla Westphal and Teagen Mettler. Also surviving are brother, Larry (Barbara) Hague of LeCenter and sisters, Donna Hague of LeSueur and Berthal Messer of Hannaford, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Lerfald and Ethel Sinell and brothers, Vern, Lynn, Darrel and James Hague. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Novmeber 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the church until the 2 p.m. service. Interment will be in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kolden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
