Robert Dennis Kistner

Robert D. Kistner, age 67 of Gaylord passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 in King County, Illinois. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at Assembly Area #4. Robert Dennis Kistner was born on December 2, 1946 in Glencoe, Mn. to Clarence and Adella (Hardel) Kistner. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 20, 1966 to January 19, 1968. He was a self-employed Truck Driver and worked many years for Kottke Trucking Co. in Buffalo Lake, Mn. Robert is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kistner of Gaylord; children, Matt (Kira) Kistner of Story City, IA and Jody Kistner of Gaylord; grandson, Grant Kistner and 10 siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece.
