Robert N. Moldenhauer, age 56 of St. Louis Park, formerly of Richfield, died on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Shakopee, MN. Visitation will be on Monday, January 13, from 4-8 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, MN. Following the service, there will be a luncheon followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Robert was born May 19, 1957 to Andrew & Matilda (Havel) Moldenhauer in New Prague, MN. He grew up in Blakeley, Minnesota and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. He worked as a custodian at a nursing home for many years. He also enjoyed his work as a technician with the Boogie Wonder Band. He had a great love for his nieces and nephews and collecting horse figurines. He is survived by his mother, Matilda "Tilly" Hoelz of Shakopee, MN; siblings, Cheryl (Edward) Schugg of New Auburn, Linda Bargmann of Glencoe, MN, Edward Moldenhauer of Eagan, MN & David Moldenhauer of Shakopee, MN; nieces & nephews, Fred Grack of New Auburn, MN, Rena (Roland) Miller of Clear Lake, MN, Dean (Helen) Ramthum of Richland Ceter, WI and Barbara (Jason) Anderson of Norwood, MN and 8 grand-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew in 1972.
