Roger Otto

Roger Otto, age 77 of Henderson, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Funeral Service will be at 11am on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. Ed Fredrich will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30-11am prior to the service at church on Saturday morning. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine.

Roger was born in Hancock Township on April 28, 1944, to Vernon and Viola (Krohn) Otto. He was baptized on May 14, 1944, and confirmed on March 20, 1958, at Trinity in Belle Plaine. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School on May 24, 1962. On November 13, 1964, Roger married Nancy Noll in Watertown, SD. Roger farmed as well as some construction and worked at the fertilizer plant in Shakopee. He enjoyed league bowling, hunting, fishing, tending bar, playing cards and being with family. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, parents in law Bill Noll & Bernice Pearson, grandson Timothy Pearson, sisters Elaine Muehlenhardt & Helen Finch, sister-in-law Jan Noll.

Roger is survived by his wife, Nancy, Sons, Steve (Kay) Otto, Rick (Katie) Otto, Mike (Lisa) Otto, Robert (Rhonda) Pearson & Don (Carrie) Pearson. Grandchildren, Tiffany, Shane, Abby, Alex, Olivia, Faith, David & Holly. 8 Great Grandchildren. Siblings, Ken (Kris) Otto, Dale Otto, and dear friend Virginia “Ma” Bessel.
