Ronald A. Hornaman

Ronald A. Hornaman, age 69 of rural Henderson died on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his home in Henderson Township, Sibley County. He was born on September 18, 1945 in St. Peter, Minnesota to Alvin and Eunice (Dahn) Hornaman. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1964. After high school he entered the United States Marine Corps. He married Eileen DeMaris on September 30, 1966 at St. Paul's UCC in Henderson. He worked for the LeSueur Foundry and later was a supervisor at Telex in Glencoe. He retired with a medical disability around 1975. Ron enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family, woodworking, grandchildren, making Christmas ornaments and playing tricks on Eileen. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, Children; Troy (Jennifer) Hornaman of Holdrege, Nebraska Bobbi Jo (Chad) Nepper and Shawn (Becky)Hornaman of LeSueur Rick (Joy) Hornaman of Balaton, MN Tim (Jody) Hornaman and Scott (Heather) Hornaman of Henderson 15 grandchildren, Wyatt, Blaine & Abigail Hornaman, Jessie & Stephanie Nepper, Travis, Megan & Emily Hornaman, Dakota & Sophie Hornaman, Trenton, Brooke & Paige Hornaman, Eli, Hunter, Kellen & Noah Hornaman and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arlen and a sister, Linda Sabo Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in LeSueur with Rev. Kent Meyer, officiating. Interment, with military rites provided by the LeSueur Honor Guard, will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur. Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. on Monday at the church.
