Rose Mary Scott of Le Sueur, a vibrant and beautiful 82 years young, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, just 40 days after a diagnosis with an aggressive form of cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd at St. Anne's Church in Le Sueur. The family welcomes you to join them at a visitation scheduled for 4-7 p.m., Tuesday at Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur beginning with a 3:45 p.m. C.C.W. Rosary and closing with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Le Sueur. Rose Mary was born on November 22, 1928 to J. Henry and Marcella (Brock) Toelle in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up in St. Louis and was a proud graduate of Incarnate Word High School and attended St. Louis University. She was a dedicated and loving wife, homemaker and mother. She loved the game of golf, with her husband Richard serving as her coach and partner. She was 7 time ladies champion at Le Sueur Country Club, an accomplishment this humble woman always minimized. She sparkled when she identified a new concept to improve her game and cherished the time spent with her golf friends. After her family had been nurtured and launched, she returned to college at Mankato State University and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a woman of great trust and faith in God who lived and radiated her love and peace filled spirit to all. She volunteered in her community and enjoyed duplicate bridge. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Dr. Richard Scott. She is also survived by her children, Katherine (Ken) Leben, Bob (Kristie) Scott, Mary Scott Riviere (Dr. George Riviere), Steve (Laurie) Scott and Liz (Dr. Michael) Sparacino. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kristen (Chris) Lybrook, Laura and Andrew Scott, Sarah and John Riviere, Ryan, John and Natalie Scott and Christopher Sparacino. Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Toelle and grandson, Scott Leben. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Le Sueur County Hospice Program through ISJ-Mayo Hospital.
