Rosella Anna Mueller, age 95 of Belle Plaine, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Hopkins. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 27 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Rev. John Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. Rosella was born in New Prague on June 16, 1918 to William and Marie (Krohn) Reinke. She was baptized on July 7, 1918 and confirmed on May 8, 1932. She married Raymond Mueller on April 7, 1937 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jordan. On July 18, 1942 the couple was blessed with a son. They farmed in rural Belle Plaine until moving into town in 1967. She was an active member of Trinity Ladies Aid and worked in housekeeping at the Lutheran Home for 21 years. Rosella loved flowers, gardening, cooking, baking, playing cards, traveling, old time music, reading, playing bingo and watching children play. Rosella is survived by her grandchildren, Nancy (Larry) Reemts of Jefferson, SD, Sheila Ondoua Ndeng of St. Michael, MN, Jean Mueller of Belle Plaine and Keith Mueller of Henderson. Sister, Ann Haas of Colorado and Sister-in-law, Helen Mueller of Chaska, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond in 2003; son, Robert in 2002; great-granddaughter, Fernande Mae Ondoua Ndeng in 2004; brother, Charles Reinke; sister, Lena Krueger; sisters-in-law, Stella Reinke and Dorothy Mueller and brothers-in-law, Gust Krueger, Clarence Haas, Clarence Mueller, Leland Mueller and Edmund Mueller.
