Rosella R. Tritz

Rosella R. Tritz, age 91 of Belle Plaine died on February 3, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30am on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church. Visitation will be at church, one hour prior to the mass on Tuesday. American Legion Auxiliary Prayers will be at church at 9:30 am on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine. Rosella was born on July 1, 1919 to William and Matilda (Brenke) Tritz in Belle Plaine, MN. She grew up in Belle Plaine and was Baptized and Confirmed at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rosella graduated from Belle Plaine High School. After high school, she worked as a telephone operator for the City of Belle Plaine until telephones went to dials. She then worked as a housekeeper for St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee for 22 years, until her retirement. She lived in Belle Plaine all her life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, walking and loved her cat, Jupiter. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers Raymond (Rita), William and Clarence Tritz. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, LaRayne Tritz of St. Paul and Lil Kerkvliet of Cottonwood many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
