Rosemary Ann Schauer

Rosemary Ann Schauer, age 65 of Green Isle, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Glencoe Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Isle. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time at the church on Friday. Interment will be in the church cemetery in Green Isle. Rosemary was born on November 16, 1949 to Edward and Anna (Fries) Bird in Arlington. She grew up in Henderson and graduated from Henderson High School in 1967. She grew up being a member of Centennial Church in Henderson and was confirmed there. She married Orval Schauer on October 28, 1972 at St. John's Church in rural Arlington. After marriage she became a member at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Isle. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, sewing, quilting and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Orval; children, Roseann Schauer of Currie, MN, Rachel Schealler of Gaylord, Robert Schauer of Hutchinson, Rebecca Schauer of Green Isle and Renae Schauer of Green Isle; grandchildren, James and Jessica Schealler; step-children, John (Brenda) Schauer of Plato, MN and Nancy (Maynard) Albers of Green Isle; step-grandchildren, Tony and Heather Schauer, Doug Albers, Sara Evers and Wendy Wark; 8 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Willard Bird of Henderson and Paul (Sharon) Bird of Arlington; sister, Sharon Otto of Le Sueur and sister-in-law, Connie Bird of Henderson. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Kenneth Bird and Leroy Bird; infant sister and infant brother; sister and brother-in-law, Marvin and Lucille Otto; brother-in-law, Earl Otto and sister-in-law, Elverda Bird.
