Roxanne L. Madden

January 16, 1957 — October 5, 2025

Henderson

Roxanne L. Madden, age 68 of Henderson, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on October 5, 2025. Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held that morning at the church from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M., beginning with an 8:45 A.M. C.C.W. Rosary. Following the Mass, interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN.

Roxanne was born on January 16, 1957 in Arlington, MN to Gerhardt and LaVerna (Steinborn) Pautsch. She attended Henderson schools and later graduated from South Central Technical College with honors.

She began her professional life at Green Giant/Pillsbury. She later concluded her career as a valued member of the Human Resources team at LSI, where she helped guide and support countless employees with compassion and integrity.

On May 31, 1975, Roxanne married the love of her life, Gary Madden, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Henderson, Minnesota. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared adventures. Roxanne enjoyed spending as much time with Gary as she could possibly squeeze into each day.  One of their greatest joys was spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping at Morningstar Camp Grounds, a place where they created countless memories over the years.  Gary’s “Sunshine” also enjoyed sitting on the front porch with her friends and neighbors, watching the neighborhood kids play, adventuring to the craft stores with her dear friend Amy, and going out with friends.  Roxanne will be remembered for her immeasurable love for Gary, as well as her family and friends, including her honorary neighborhood grandchildren.

Roxanne was an active member of St. Anne’s Council of Catholic Women (CCW), where she contributed her time and talents in service to her faith community.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Henderson, MN; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gerhardt and LaVerna Pautsch.
