Ruth M. Kraker, age 93 of Le Sueur, died Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Minnesota Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur, beginning with a 3:45 C.C.W. Rosary. Visitation will continue on Friday morning from 8-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur. Ruth was born on May 30, 1919 to Charles and Grace (Vail) Coey in San Francisco, CA. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 1941 with her teaching degree. She taught elementary school in Antioch, CA until her marriage to Urban Michael Kraker on September 30, 1944 in San Francisco. She was a member of St. Anne's Church Choir. She was a librarian for the Public Library in Le Sueur. She was also involved with St. Anne's school Library, Bridge Clubs and various community activities. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and reading. Ruth is survived by her children, Mike (Mary) Kraker of White Bear Lake, Lynn (Mike) Callahan of North Mankato and David (Pam) Kraker of Keller, TX; Son-in-Law, George Cliff. 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Urban in 1994; daughter, Kathi Cliff and brother, Robert Coey.
