Ruth S. Pioske

Ruth S. Pioske, age 93 of St. Peter, and formerly of rural Le Sueur, passed away on Monday, March 14, at the Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter. There will be a private family service held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley Township, Sibley County. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Ruth was born in Waverly, Iowa on October 8, 1922 to Edward and Eva (Trumpower) Soldwisch. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1940. Ruth married George Burman in Waverly, Iowa and were later divorced. On February 10, 1959 she married Kenneth Pioske in Sauk Centre. They moved to Kelso Township, Sibley County and operated a farm machinery and automotive repair business for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Alice (Don) Pearson of Long Prairie, MN Mary (Byron) Simpson of Eden, WY Sons, Edward (Roxanne) Pioske of Gaylord, James Pioske of Le Sueur, MN Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gladys and her husband Walter Lantzky and her husband, Kenneth Pioske.
