Sandra Kay Culbertson

Sandra Kay Culbertson, age 68 of Le Sueur, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at her home in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11 at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. Rev. Luke Nelson will officiate. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, MN. Sandra was born on March 29, 1945 to Otto and Cornelia (Gans) Scheer in Austin, Minnesota. Sandra married Gerald Culbertson on June 4, 1967. She worked most of her life at the Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur as a Nursing Assistant. For the last several years she has worked with several group homes in the surrounding area as a PCA. She enjoyed watching movies and doing crafts. Sandra is survived by her son, Scott Culbertson of Le Sueur; brother, Robert Scheer of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and sister, Patricia (Merle) Marrow of San Diego, California; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald in '93; infant twins at birth and brother, Donavan Scheer.
