Sandra Lea "Sandy" Revier, age 68 of Arlington died on Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 23rd at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington, MN with the Reverend James E. Carlson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22nd and one hour prior to the service at Zion Lutheran Church. Sandy was born in New Ulm on March 7th, 1943 to Myron and Eleanore (Peterson) Nelson. She grew up in Fairfax, and graduated from Fairfax High School in 1961. She married Gary Revier on November 21st, 1964 at The American Lutheran Church in Fairfax. They spent all of their married life in Arlington, where Sandy worked as an Avon sales representative for 26 years, earning President's Club every year. She also sold Shaklee & Watkins products. She worked as a childcare provider and foster parent as well as working at the school. Sandy was active at Zion Lutheran Church, where she cleaned and was head usher for many years. She enjoyed bowling, and loved the small town setting. She was well-known for loving to hear all about what her family and friends were up to, and thoroughly enjoyed talking to everyone she met. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she made sure to keep everyone updated on what they were up to. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Eleanore Nelson; brother, Donovan Nelson; son-in-law, Steven Lien; and parents-in-law, Marge and Frank Kasal, and Vernon Revier. Sandy is survived by her Husband, Gary Revier; Daughters and sons-in-law, Denise & Paul Koring of Walker, RaNae & Scott Kleist of Plymouth, Stacia & Richard Jasken of Hutchinson; Grandchildren, Erin & Matthew Koring, Kelsey & Konnor Kleist, Madison & Peyton Jasken; Sister, Ramona (Dennis) Nielsen of St. Cloud; Aunts, Verone Langhorst of Gaylord and Verona Cotter of Minneapolis; Brothers-in-law, Charles (Helen) Revier of Waite Park, Richard Revier of St. Paul, and Stanley (Donna) Kasal of St. Anthony. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
