Sanford L. Hunter

Sanford "Butch" L. Hunter, age 65 of Shakopee, formerly of the Belle Plaine area died at his home on May 26, 2015. Memorial services will be Monday afternoon, 4:00 p.m., June 1, 2015 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be at a later time at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Rev. Wolfgang Laudert will officiate the services. Butch was born on November 22, 1949 to Sanford & Mary Ann (Voss) Hunter in Shakopee, MN. He grew up in the Belle Plaine area and after high school entered and served in the United States Army. He did some part time work after returning from the service and was disabled. He is survived by his two brothers; Kevin (Debbie) Hunter of Belle Plaine, MN and Keith Hunter of Belle Plaine, MN. Many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Patricia Hunter, Val Kaley, Karla Cornelius and 2 nephews and 1 niece.
