Sarah Dawn Pomeranz

February 5, 1990 — October 12, 2025

Le Sueur

Sarah Dawn Pomeranz, 35, of Le Sueur MN. passed away on Sunday October 12, after a lengthy battle with health complications spanning the past 6 years.

Sarah was born February 5, 1990 in Madison, WI. to Rocky and Lorrie (Goben) Pomeranz. She was greeted by her older brother Dustin. She then became a big sister to Dexter, then Spencer. Being a loving daughter, sissy, and auntie were so important to her.

Sarah was a lifelong Minnesotan, with time spent most in Parkers Prairie, Jordan, and Le Sueur. Along the way she explored what seemed like every inch of what the state had to offer. She was at home wherever the wind took her. While in nature, she collected rocks. Geology was her passion. One of her favorite places to be was along the North Shore. When she wasn't rock hunting, she loved to attend music festivals. She was a talented flow artist, primarily with the hula hoop. She captivated audiences wherever she performed. In all of Sarah's adventures and activities, she dedicated her whole self.

A big part of Sarah's life was her connections to others. Sarah had such a big heart, whether it was for a fellow human or an animal. While she never had kids of her own, she was often seen as an aunt to the kids in her life and her neighborhood. She made friends everywhere she went and will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her mom, Lorrie Pomeranz of Parkers Prairie; brothers Dustin and Dexter, both of Parkers Prairie, and Spencer (Laura) in St. Paul; nieces Alayna and Stella, of Parkers Prairie; and dear friend Larry Nelson of Le Sueur. She also is survived by her furry companions Zyla, Rocky, River, and Rousey.

Celebrations of Sarah's life will take place in both Le Sueur and Parkers Prairie. In Le Sueur, a Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 24, at 5:30pm to 6:30 pm at the Kolden Funeral Home. In Parkers Prairie, a service will be held at Esther Lutheran Church on Thursday, November 6. Visitation from 9 to 11am, service beginning at 11:30am, with a luncheon to follow.

Those meeting her in the afterlife include her father, Rocky Pomeranz; paternal grandparents Roy and June Pomeranz; maternal grandfather Ronald Goben; and longtime canine companions, Sassy and Daisy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family. To honor her, we ask that everyone hold your loved ones close, spend some time in nature, and find some cool rocks.
