Scott J. Berndt

Scott J. Berndt, age 34 of Chanhassen, formerly of Le Sueur died on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 16, at 3:00 p.m. at the Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 p.m. ~ 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at a later time in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Rev. Kent Meyer & Rev. Robert F. Broeder will officiate the services. Scott was born on December 23, 1981 to Duane & Barbara (Kahle) Berndt in St. Peter, MN. He grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School in 2000. He attended and graduated from Mankato State University in 2014 where he was the Vice-President of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma. He went on to work for several medical device companies, (Nonin & Entellus) and most recently, Skyline Medical. He is survived by his mother; Barb Berndt & her special friend Mark Healy of Le Sueur, MN; sister, Tammy Berndt of Shakopee; brother, Dan (Chris) Berndt of Henderson, MN. Grandmother, Lucille Kahle of LeSueur and his dog, Bella. Nieces and nephews; Imani Cornelius, Kelsey, Zach and Brody Berndt. Aunts & Uncles; Barry Kahle, Le Sueur, Heidi & Tom Obele of Le Suerur, Brian & Marlys Berndt, Keith & Jan Berndt and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Duane in 1992, Grandparents, Dick Kahle & Raymond & Hazel Berndt; aunt, Sandy Roehler and uncle, Kenneth Berndt. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
