Shan Marcia Musser

Shan M. Musser, age 74 of Belle Plaine, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home. Memorial services will be held privately. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota. Shan was born on April 19, 1938 to Reynold and Irene (Theisen) Lillquist in Winona, Minnesota. She graduated high school in 1956. She was an extraordinary knitter and stitcher. She knit teddy bears for a hospital in Kenya which she was very proud of. She was known for her wonderful cooking. Shan is survived by her children, Toni (Doug) Tharp of Bedford, TX and Matthew Fink of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan Tharp; sister, Wendy Campbell of Eden Prairie; nephews, Aaron (Deborah) Harmon, Grey (Lindsay) Campbell, Tim (Sara) Campbell and Andrew (Faith) Campbell; great nieces and nephews, Becca, Mara, Regan and Bridger; and many friends at the Cardinal Ridge Apartments in Belle Plaine. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother Clark Lillquist.
