Sharon Mae Otto

Sharon Mae Otto, age 79 of Le Sueur, formerly of Belle Plaine, died on Sunday morning, December 4, 2022 at Comfort Residence in Le Sueur, MN.  Celebration of her Life will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. at the Rustic Room in Neisen’s Corner Bar in Belle Plaine, MN.  Burial will be private at Oakwood Cemetery, Belle Plaine, MN.

Sharon was born on November 8, 1943 to Edward and Anna (Fries) Bird in Jessenland Township, Sibley County, MN.  She grew up in the Henderson area and married Earl Otto on August 18, 1962 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, MN.  The couple lived and farmed in the Union Hill are for many years before moving to Belle Plaine in 1981.  She worked at Le Sueur Inc. for many years and the couple moved to Le Sueur in 1990.  She retired from Le Sueur Inc. in 2008.    She enjoyed baking, traveling and country music.

She is survived by her seven children; Donna (Larry) Hague of Shakopee, MN; Darrell (Ann) Otto of Le Sueur, MN; Deborah Otto, (Special Friend, Dan Gondreau) of St. Peter, MN; Duwaine Otto of Le Sueur, MN; Diane (Kelly) Tikalsky of New Prague, MN; Doreen (Darrin) Duff of Tracy, MN and Donald Otto of Le Sueur, MN.  24 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren.  Brother, Paul Bird of Arlington, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; brothers, Willard, LeRoy and Kenny Bird.  Sisters; Rosemary Schauer and Lucille Otto.
