Sharon Wolter

Sharon Helen Wolter, age 75 of Green Isle died on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Ridgeview Hospital in Arlington, MN.  Visitation will be on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN.  Visitation will conclude with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service and celebration.  Celebration of life will be private at a later time.

Sharon was born on March 1, 1948 to Henry and Helen (Luthy) Kopecky in Minneapolis, MN.  She grew up in the Carver area and attended East Union Grade School and Chaska High School.  She married David Wolter on March 19, 1964 in Northwood, Iowa.  The couple lived on a farm near Belle Plaine from 1964 ~ 1984, they then moved to Green Isle.  Sharon worked many years as a homemaker and cook at St. Bernard’s Catholic School in Cologne, MN and also sold Avon products part time.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, embroidering, crossword puzzles, loons at the lake, time on her phone and kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; Children; Donald Wolter of Green Isle, MN; Steve Wolter of Chanhassen, MN; Lori (Dan) Neisen of Belle Plaine, MN and Jodi (Clay) Busch of Stewart, MN.  Grandchildren; John (Allyce) Wolter, Debbie (Shawn) Wolter, Ryan (Kellie) Neisen, Alyssa (Toney) Neisen, Lexi and Luke Neisen and Michaela and Lauren Busch. Great-grandchildren; Jacelyn, Hailey, Allison, Meghan and Amella.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley (Dwayne) Belter and daughter, Tammy Wolter.
