Shirley Bethke

Shirley Mae Bethke, age 90 of Henderson, passed away on February 14, 2025 at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Private family burial will take place at a later date.

Shirley was born on November 26, 1934 to Alfred and Cora (Ostermann) Bauer in Gaylord, MN.  In 1955, Shirley married Marvin Bethke in Gaylord, MN. They made their home on Marvin’s Timberview Family Farm. They were blessed with five children. Shirley worked at ADC and Onan in St. Peter and helped on the family farm. She enjoyed working side by side with Marvin, gardening, baking, traveling and being around her grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, sister Beverly and son-in-law Bill Brau.

She is survived by her children: Kevin (Beth) Bethke of Wilmette, IL, Rhonda Brau of Plymouth, MN, Jan (Steve Harsh) Bethke of Virginia Beach, VA, Craig Bethke of Henderson, MN and James (Kathryn) Bethke of Cypress, TX; grandchildren; Justin Bethke, Giselle Alwin Bethke, Calder Alwin Bethke, Logan (Greer) Brau and Briana (Kyle) Osterberg, great grandchild Harper, nieces and nephews.
