Shirley R. Hill

Shirley R. Hill, age 78 of Le Sueur, died peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Noon at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. ~ Noon. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. Shirley was born on October 6, 1938 to George & Dorthea (Boelter) Nagel in Henderson Township, Sibley County. She attended Sand Prairie Country School and graduated from Le Sueur High School. Shirley married Charles "Chuck" Hill on December 1, 1987 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They have lived in Le Sueur many years. She worked many years at ADC in St. Peter, MN and later did some waitressing and enjoyed doing Daycare in her later years. Shirley enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds, cooking, shopping and time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Chuck; Children; Russell (Faith) Patterson of Le Sueur & La Donna (Mike) Trimbo of Lolo, Montana. Grandchildren; Rachel (Ryan) Almich, Melissa Patterson & fiancé, Troy Benedict, Bryan (Karlie) Trimbo, Ashley (DJ) Lidyard and Bradley Trimbo and his fiancée Justine La Rue. Great-grandchildren; Adelynn Almich, Ronin & Lola Benedict; Braylie & Mattie Trimbo, Kyron & Emmrey Trimbo and Cloey & Raeley; Brothers; Gordon, LeRoy, Marvin and Donald Nagel all of Le Sueur and Sisters; Delores Hedman of Pequot Lakes, MN; Peggy Thompson of Hankinson, ND and Carol (Boyd) Hansen of Mankato, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Nagel and young siblings; Betty, Audrey and Wesley.
