Shirley A. Kahle, age 83 of Le Sueur, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the MN Valley Health Center in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 21 at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. Rev. Beth Benson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 20 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur and also one hour prior to the service time at church. Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Shirley was born on April 28, 1929 to Arthur and Margaret (Meger) Brandt in Le Sueur. She graduated from Henderson High School in 1947. She married Donald Kahle on April 14, 1951 at Zion U.C.C. in Le Sueur. She enjoyed camping with her family, snowmobiling and dancing to polka with her husband. She also dearly loved all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they brought such a smile to her face when they would walk in the room. Shirley is survived by her children, Gene (special friend, Joyce Reinhardt) Kahle of Le Sueur, Glen "Benny" (Linda) Kahle of Le Sueur and Geri (special friend, Steve Griep) Loose of Le Sueur; grandchildren, Bailey (Joe) Eng, Cody Kahle, Lukas (special friend, Annetta Paulson) Loose and Sadie Loose; step-grandchildren, Christopher and Holly Slack; great-grandchildren, Riley, Regun, Remengton and Kahley Eng; siblings, Marvin (Linda) Brandt of Le Sueur and Marlene (Carl) Walsten of Savage; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald in 1991.
