Shirley Karg

Shirley Ann Karg, age 78 of Belle Plaine, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 17th at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Michael Kaluza will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday morning. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine.

Shirley was born in Saint Peter on August 3, 1943, to Albert and Mary (Lawrence) Lindorff. Shirley lived most of her life in Belle Plaine, raising six children. She enjoyed flower gardening spending time with the quilting ladies and her grandson Christopher.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kristine and brother, James Lindorff.

Shirley is survived by her children, Lynn (Eric) Karels of Henderson, Leon Karg of Farmington, David (Deb) Karg of Detroit Lakes and Ashley Karg of Belle Plaine, Dana Karg of Texas, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
