Shirley A. Kehoe, age 87 of Arlington, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Texas Terrace Health Care Center in St. Louis Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Thursday, December 14 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 pm on Wednesday, December 13 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington and will continue 9 am - 10:45 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Arlington. Shirley Anne Kehoe was born on August 22, 1930 in St. Paul to Everett and Anne (Ridge) Scarsdale. Shirley grew up in St. Paul and attended Cathedral High School. She married John D. "Jim" Kehoe at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Jessenland. The couple lived and farmed near Henderson and moved to Arlington in 1977. Shirley was a dedicated homemaker and devoted wife and mother to her three beautiful children. Later, she welcomed five grandchildren and filled them all with so much love. Shirley is survived by daughter, Jeanne Laabs of Plymouth; five grandchildren, Amy (Adam) Klaphake, Michael Laabs, Lindsey (Matthew) Voigt, Katie Harnish, and Kari Laabs; two great-grandsons, Johnny and Remington Voigt; son-in-law, Dave Harnish of Edina; and sisters-in-law, Babe Dressen of Fort Dodge, IA, and Mary Ann Kehoe of Ashland, WI. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, "Jim" in 1984; son, Jim in 1970; and daughter, Sandy in 1997. She was deeply loved in life and now in spirit.
