Silbena "Beanie" Marie Wacker

Silbena "Beanie" M. Wacker, age 85 of Henderson passed away on Dec. 24, 2012 at Mayo-Health System in New Prague, MN. Funeral Service will be on Friday, Dec. 28, 11:00 a.m. at Centennial Lutheran Church in Henderson. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery in Henderson. Silbena was born on July 4, 1927 to William and Lena (Goetsch) Winter. She married Lawrence "Lefty" Wacker on August 3, 1946 in Arlington. She loved quilting, gardening and baking goods for various events around town. She enjoyed watching sports especially the MN Twins. She also loved doting after her four grandchildren. Silbena is survived by her daughters, Barb (Robert) Plieseis of Henderson and Connie Buck of Henderson; grandchildren, Leea and Nick Buck, Paul (Samantha) Plieseis and Jean Plieseis; son-in-law, Walter Buck; sisters, Lorraine (George) Uecker and Myra Armstrong; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence "Lefty" Wacker in 2005; and many siblings.
