Sylvia G. Kaiser

Sylvia G. Kaiser, age 86 of Henderson, died on Friday evening, September 14, 2018 at the Oak Terrace Living Center in Gaylord, MN. Memorial services will be on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, MN. Visitation will be at the funeral home the morning of the services from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Green Isle, lunch to follow at the Arlington Haus. Sylvia was born on April 2, 1932 to Henry and Marie (Thiesfeldt) Schwich in Glencoe, MN. She grew up in the Green Isle area and attended Green Isle Schools. She married Edwin Kaiser on December 5, 1948 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Isle. The couple farmed and raised minks in the Jessenland Township area of Sibley County. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was actively involved in her church where she was a charter member. In later years, she loved spending time with her cat, Josie and enjoyed her many visitors she had to the house. She was a very independent lady and loved being at home. Sylvia is survived by her children; Robert (Dawn) Kaiser of Madelia and Sherry (Henry) Reiner of Hutchinson. 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Victor Schwich of Daytona, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin in 2013; grandson, Dakota Reiner and two brothers, Norman and Harold Schwich.
