Terry D. Busse

Terry David Busse, age 48 of Le Sueur, died at his home on Sunday evening, January 31, 2016. Funeral services will be on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ, Le Sueur, MN. Visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the services at church on Friday morning. Interment will be in Elim-Welsh Cemetery, Le Sueur, County. Terry was born on June 21, 1967 in LeSueur to David and Sandra (Schmidt) Busse. He graduated from LeSueur High School in 1985 and worked at the Delzer Body Shop in LeSueur, learning from his father. He later began a career in the automotive paint industry working for the Herberts Standox Company, Dupont Performance Coatings and most recently for Axalta Coatings Systems as account manager, traveling throughout the United States. Terry was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed playing and watching baseball and won many trophies as a competitive Bar-b-Que master, known for his ribs. He married Susan (Loose-Haggenmiller) at Zion United Church of Christ on April 23, 2011. Terry is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Mary, Allie and Paytyn; mother, Sandy Busse of LeSueur; sisters, Barbara (Robert) Miller of Henderson and Lisa (Keith) Bahler of Fairbury, IL and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Sharon Haggenmiller of Henderson and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mike and Lori Penas, as well as 4 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, David, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
