Theda Mae Frost

Theda ‘Ted' Frost, age 95 of Le Sueur, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Minnesota Valley Memorial Hospital in Le Sueur. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2012 at First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur. Rev. Carl Bruihler will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur. Theda was born on May 27, 1916 to Charles and Minnie (Dennis) Largent in Pella, Iowa. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis in 1934. She married Norman Frost on September 2, 1937. She was involved with the Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was also involved with Daughters of the Union Army Veterans and was their national secretary. She enjoyed needlework, sewing and her pets. Theda is survived by her children, Ken Frost of Excelsior, Gloria (James) Raymond of Minnetonka, Dorothy (Geoff) Nelson of Roseville and Paul (Darla) Frost of Le Sueur; grandchildren, Perry (Cathy) Wiest, Dan (Shari) Frost, Lisa (Bruno) Doerfler, Becky Frost, Alison Wiest, Erik Raymond and Evan Frost; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Josiah Wiest, and Broderick, Jaeden, Riken and Airis Frost. Theda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Norman in 1985.
