Timothy John Zurn

Timothy John Zurn, age 55 and lifelong resident of Belle Plaine, died on January 24, 2012 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and will continue one hour prior to Mass at church. Tim was born in New Prague on July 11, 1956 to Walter "Bud" and Geraldine (Wilson) Zurn. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1974 and attended Hutchinson Vo-Tech School. Tim worked for Norwesco and owned and operated Tim's TV's Sales and Repairs and Hot Trax Music Service. For the past several years, he sold cars. Tim loved to go to Drag races at Brainerd International Raceway and tractor pulls. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and motorcycling. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Kurt. Tim is survived by his Siblings, Dan (Audrey) Zurn of Belle Plaine, Greg (Beansy) Zurn of Belle Plaine, Samantha (Joel Wade) Emelife of Minneapolis; Step mother, Connie Zurn of Belle Plaine; Special Friend, Kelly Zurn of Belle Plaine; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
