Toya L Hart

Toya Lashone Hart passed away on December 14, 2024 in Lakeville Minnesota. Celebration of life will be held at South Fork Town Homes(17956 Jubilee Way, Lakeville, MN 55044), January 4, 2025 at 10AM.

Toya was born in Chicago, IL on October 5, 1971 to Randle and Bonnie (Breland) Mahaffey. She grew up in Chicago and attended Englewood High School.

She sold Paparazzi Jewelry, Color Street Nails and Mary Kay.  She moved to Minnesota in September 2002. She married Bishop Robert Hart Jr. on May 21, 2005 at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. Toya had a heart of gold, she loved to give and was a great listener every day. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Rabbert Mahaffey and a brother Randly Mahaffey.

Toya and her husband Bishop Hart, started True Vine Fellowship in December 2007 (later to become City Of Redemption} with all the kids in the neighborhood.  She was ordained Prophetess on March 2015 in Cleveland Ohio and shortly became Co Pastor in September 2017. She was truly a pillar of “The Ship” and all the women that attended

She is survived by her husband Bishop Robert L. Hart Jr. of Lakeville; children, Mozena (Mova) Washington of Chicago, IL., Mireyna Mahaffey of Lakeville, MN, Marquis Irby of West Palm Beach FL and Aniya Davis of St. Paul, MN.; grandchildren, Sherman Durham, Paris Washington, Jupiter and Apollo Mahaffey.

Toya was and inspiration soul with compassion for everyone she met. She always showed exceptional gratitude and would give the shirt off her and Bishop’s back. She is truly loved and will be truly missed. You can rest now thy good and faithful servant.
