Troy David Jenneke, age 45 of Arlington, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center in Arlington after a courageous battle with cancer. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington from 4-8 p.m.
Troy was born on December 21, 1975 in Glencoe to David and Cindy (Reinitz) Jenneke. He married Angela Treu on February 2, 2020.
As a child he was curious how things worked and would take them apart and put them back together. Later in life this curiosity led him to owning and operating his own business, Troy’s Repair, with the help of his wife, Angie.
Troy was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Troy loved life and always lived it to the fullest.
Troy is survived by his wife, Angie; children, Kiersten (Tyler) Palma of Hutchinson, Drew Jenneke of Hutchinson, Brennan Jenneke of Hutchinson, Caden Jenneke of Arlington, Dawn Treu of Arlington, and Brian Treu of Arlington; parents, David and Mary Jenneke of Glencoe; sister, Jennifer (Chris) Holtz of Hutchinson; nephew and niece, Jeffery and Hailey Thorson; mother-in-law, Mary Gibis of Montgomery; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and beloved dog, Shasta.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Cindy; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family would like to especially thank the Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center staff and the Ridgeview Hospice team for their guidance and support during this difficult time for them.
