Vernon Erwin Oestreich

Vernon E. Oestreich, age 71 of Belle Plaine died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Mayo Health Clinic Health System in New Prague, Minnesota. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. January 11, 2012 at the Lutheran Home Chapel in Belle Plaine, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to serverice at The Lutheran Home. Vernon was born on May 22, 1940 to Theodore and Adeline (Drews) Oestreich in Hollywood, Minnesota. On June 16, 1940 he was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church in Hollywood and on August 17, 1977 he was confirmed by Rev. Walter G. Schultz at St. Mark Lutheran Church in New Germany, MN. Vernon lived at the Hope Residence in Belle Plaine and worked at New Options as a Peace Worker. Vernon is survived by his Brother, Leonard (Marlene) Oestreich of New Germany, MN; Sister Marcie (Harold) Gust of St. Louis Park, MN and many nieces and nephews.
