Wendi Lynn Johnson, age 61, of Belle Plaine, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at Auburn Manor in Chaska. A celebration of life will be held for Wendi at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Scott County Fairgrounds, north arena, Jordan, MN. A visitation will begin the same day starting at 3 p.m.
Wendi was born on November 20, 1963, to William and Joyce (Madson) Johnson in St. Paul, MN. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1982. After high school, Wendi worked at both Cedar Ridge Arabians and Heston Park Arabians as a show horse trainer assistant. Following working in the horse business, she waitressed at Emma Krumbees for a number of years and completed her work career at T-Chek Systems, Inc. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 13 and battled many health issues over the years including multiple transplants.
She loved horses, giving riding lessons to youth, singing, traveling and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was also passionate and active in Minnesota Valley Riders Saddle Club.
Wendi is survived by special friend Peter Fahey of Belle Plaine, MN; son Tre’Von Fahey of Hector, MN; father William Johnson of Perris, CA; mother-in-law Polly Fahey of Belle Plaine, MN; sister Lori (Sam) Taylor of Belle Plaine, MN; brother-in-law Billy Joe (Brenda) Fahey of Belle Plaine, MN; sister-in-law Joan (John) Fahey of Norwood, MN and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Joyce Johnson, father-in-law William Fahey and Grandparents.
