William J. Cameron

William J. Cameron, 78 of Le Sueur, died Monday, January 9, at Mayo Health Systems in Mankato. Bill was born on January 2, 1934 to Clarence & Catherine (Morgan) Cameron in St. Peter, MN. He grew up in Le Sueur and attended St. Anne's School. He entered the Unites States Marine Corp. from 1952-1955 serving mostly in Japan. He married Rosemary Habeck on Feb. 3, 1956 in Shakopee, MN. Bill worked for 6 years with his father, at Cameron Transfer. He then worked as a truck driver for many years with Night Hawk Express, retiring in 1994. Bill is survived by his wife, Rosemary Daughters; Colleen Cameron of Wauwatosa, WI Carol (Randy) Sheppard of Monticello, MN Granddaughter;Nichole Gleason of Mpls, MN Brother;Donald (Dorris) Cameron of Hayden, Idaho Sister;Kathlene (Bernard) Sporre of Lak Havasu City, AZ He is preceded in death by his infant daughter and parents. Memorial services will be private.
