William Harvey Duncan, age 93 of Le Sueur, formerly of Henderson, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Le Sueur Assisted Living. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. Rev. Brigit Stevens will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery in Henderson. William was born on March 25, 1919 to William C. and Annie (Cameron) Duncan in Eastend, Saskatchewan, Canada. He received his education in the Saskatchewan schools. Later on, the family moved to Franktown, Ontario. In 1960 he married Rosewitha Grapentine of Henderson, Mn. They farmed in rural Henderson and Harvey also did maintenance work at various places. Later on, they moved to rural Le Sueur. Harvey's hobbies included traveling, camping, bird feeding and making lawn ornaments. Harvey is survived by many nieces and nephews from Smiths Falls, Ontario; step-children, Elliot Grapentine of Coon Rapids, Rhoda (Milton) Woehler of Arlington, John (Doris) Grapentine of Smiths Falls, Ontario, and Jerry (Pat) Grapentine of Henderson; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
