William W. Heldberg

William W. Heldberg, age 75 of Le Sueur, died at this home on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur. Visitation will be at the Zion United Church of Christ in Le Sueur on Monday from 5-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur. William was born on November 8, 1935 in Ottawa Township to Walter and Alma (Papke) Heldberg. He grew up and farmed in the Sharon Township and Ottawa Township areas of Le Sueur County. Bill served in the United States Army from 1958-1960, most of his deployment was in Germany. He enjoyed coffee with his friends and going for drives in Southern Minnesota He is survived by his brothers, Quentin (Millie) Heldberg of Le Sueur, Kermit Heldberg of Le Sueur, MN and Daryl (Marva) Heldberg of Le Sueur, MN; Nieces and Nephews, Dan Heldberg, Karl & Frank Heldberg, Julie Vinkemeier and Jane Wiese. He is preceded in death by 1 brother, Charles; Sister-in-Law, Lucille; 1 nephew and parents.
