Willis Roberts

Willis E. Roberts, age 80 of Le Sueur, MN passed away on March 17, 2014. Willis was born on July 5, 1933 to William and Evelyn (Moratzka) Roberts in Tomahawk, WI, growing up in various Wisconsin communities before settling in the St. Croix Falls area. It is there where he met, and married Darlene Anderson on June 24, 1967. Willis and Darlene later moved to the LeSueur, MN area, where they started a family and succeeded in the lumber and apartment rental industries all while maintaining his parents family farm in Centuria, WI. His love of agricultural growth, and real estate acquisition fueled his ambition to continue working up until his final days. Willis was best known for his strong work ethic, quick sense of humor, and kind-hearted soul. He is survived by his wife, Darlene of LeSueur, MN. Children; Denise Brosi of Stillwater, MN and Jeremie (Kerri) Roberts of St. Petersburg, FL. Grandson; Tony Brosi of Austin, TX. Brother; Everett (Eileen) Roberts of Sturgeon Bay, WI. In-Laws; Burdette (Jeanette) Anderson of Dresser, WI, Diane (Carl) Hansen of St. Croix, WI, and Debbie (Jack) Brust of Somerset, WI. Other extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life memorial service will occur at a date to-be-determined.
