Annette F. Sunderman

Annette  “Annie” F. Sunderman, age 89, of LeSueur died on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Oak Terrace Senior Living with her family at her side.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in LeSueur.  Interment will be in the Mound Cemetery in LeSueur.  Visitation will be Sunday, August 27 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in LeSueur and one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church. 

Annie was born on April 14, 1934 in Henderson Township, Sibley County to Franklin and Ruth (Teschendorf) Mueller.  She attended Henderson Schools.  Annie married Dale Sunderman on November 10, 1951 at Zion Church in LeSueur.  They worked their Sharon Township farm as a team growing crops, feeding livestock, chickens and a successful Holstein dairy herd.  She was active in the Circle of the United Methodist Women, card club and other activities, gardening, square dancing, water walking and more recently Bingo, games and new friends at Oak Terrace.  She enjoyed traveling with Dale on vacations, to different countries, cruises, as well as following the love of her life Dale to bowling tournaments local and Statewide.  Annie cherished the special bond she had with her twin sister Jeanie.  Annies’s family also gives a special “Thank you” to St. Croix Hospice and Oak Terrace and their loving staff.

Annie is survived by her husband Dale of over 71 years, and children, Dan “Sunny” Sunderman of LeSueur, Deb Sunderman and  her wife, Mary Ross of Savage and Kevin Sunderman of LeSueur.  2 Grandchildren, Nick Buck and Ashley Hunt.  2 Sisters, Jeanie Sunderman of LeSueur and Georgie Doyle of Stillwater and nieces and nephews.  Annie was preceded in death by parents, and 2 sisters, Gertrude Moore and Dorothy Latini.
