Barbara Jean Flo

Barbara Jean (Miller) Flo, age 82 of Le Sueur, died on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Le Sueur, MN.

Barbara was born on June 20, 1940 in Waseca, MN to Ted and Irene (Arndt) Miller. She grew up in Janesville, MN and attended Janesville Schools.  She married Dale Flo in 1958 and had three children.  Barbara spent many years providing care for the elderly and then 20+ years as a Foster Care Parent in Le Sueur County.  She then continued with her legacy of providing love and care for others through operating a Child Day Care in her home up until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening, playing cards with friends, antique collecting, traveling in their motorhome, trips to Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, Mexico, and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Irene Miller, sister Betty (Miller) Honsey, and son Brian.  Barbara is survived by her loving husband Dale of 63 years, daughters Brenda (Jim) Barr of Maple Grove, MN and Kris (Kevin) Pitkin of Eagan, MN; grandchildren; Brittney (Robby) Philipp, Brandon Barr, Bryce Edwards and great-grandson Carter.

A joint Funeral Service will be held for Barbara and son Brian at the First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur at 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 9th with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
