Craig Joseph Kroehler, age 36 of Le Sueur, died unexpectedly on August 22, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church on Friday.
Craig was born on December 3, 1984 to Joseph and Angela (Steinborn) Kroehler in St. Peter, MN. He graduated from Le Sueur Henderson High School in 2003. He studied at Liberty University for Ministry and Christian Counseling, where he received his bachelor’s degree and was working on his Masters. It's amazing how knowledgeable he was with the Bible; he could tell you anything you wanted to know and where to find it.
He worked for the Le Sueur Henderson School District as a custodian, and also worked weekends at Le Sueur Inc. through Twin Cities Security.
Craig enjoyed fishing, bowling, running, riding bike, rollerblading, lifting weights, and flying his drone. Gardening was his passion; he grew many types of hot peppers, rhubarb, and sweet corn. He loved his hot peppers so much that he’d even use them in his cookie and brownie recipes. Craig was a big gamer; he liked Power Rangers, Pokémon, Star Wars, and the Marvel Super Heroes.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Angela Kroehler of Le Sueur; sister, Rachel (Jeff) Malkow of Le Sueur; nephews, Hunter and Colton; niece, Lily; maternal grandparents, Roger and Lois Steinborn of Henderson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Fredrick and Wilma Lee Kroehler; uncle, Kevin Rau; and cousin, Emma Fogarty.
