Debra Segna Obituary

Debra Lynn Segna [Thompson] age 71 passed away peacefully in her sleep Aug 8th, 2022. She was born as the 3rd child in Mpls Mn January 18th 1951 to Donald and Kathlyn [Joynes] Thompson. She graduated from Cooper High School 1969 in New Hope. She met her husband Larry in 1980, married 7/2/1982. Together they had son Dustin 7/11/88. She was very proud and passionate about her family of 5 with her furbabies Jake and Smoky. For many years Debbie was a master scheduler working for Colgate/Softsoap/Apex/Lake region. She retired in 2020 and started part time at Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine, Debbie loved being with people helping people. She was a Big sister for girls when she was in her teens, she volunteered for numerous charity’s, including the Belle Plaine food shelf. Always worrying about others. She loved all Minnesota sports, reading and sitting on her patio. Debbie had requested no service. She wants people to have any drink, cheers to my friends and family for being apart of my life!! She is out of pain, free to fly and travel.

 

Survived by her husband Larry, her son Dustin, her furbabies Jake and Smokey

Brother Donald [Judy] Thompson, sisters Sharon Reed and Kathlyn [Jon] Henderson.

Also survived by sisters-in-law Diane Valek, Shirley Segna, Cindy Segna, brothers-in-law Kip [Carol] Segna and Steven Segna. Many nieces, nephews and cousins she adored.

Preceded by mother, dad, brother Jeff, brother in laws Anthony Reed, Randy, Ronald [Jody] Segna, Ronnie Valek, Sister in law Sandy Segna
